Wanted to pull the engine on my 71 bus today to fit a new clutch kit. Removed cross member and 2 bolts on the bell housing, engine won´t come out. Someone told me there are 2 more, where, and how to access them? Inside engine compartment or outside under the car?

One is the bolt that goes thru the starter motor flange. Gotta remove the 17mm nut from the engine side. Other is a bolt that goes thru the bellhousing just above the clutch lever. Your engine might have a 17mm nut on the engine side. Be sure the engine is well-supported...
