I've just aquired a Single progressive webber carb. It's been stood for a fair few years. It came off a beetle that was running fine at the time (albeit 10 years ago). I'd like to put it onto my 1641cc 1303 to replace the tired old 34 pict 3. It's stamped '32/36 DFAV. Does anyone have any knowledge of this carb? Is it a good carb for a mildly uprated beetle (1641cc)? Is it likely it will need a rebuild? I guess I would need some information on rebuilding and setting this carb up, does anyone know of any books/web sites on the subject?
