where can I go online to find color my specific car was orig. painted?

What about the manufacturing plaque on the driver's side door frame. Isn't a color code listed there? Or there's the plaque near the latch of the bonnet.
Going to look at mine....
Whoop.. got a call from the buggyhouse, my Quaife differential is in. I'll post later.
