Cooling thermostat setup

Sep 12, 2005 3 Replies

once you find the quite short M8 bolt and normal washer for it, go ahead and attach the thermostat to the bracket once the thermostat is attached to the rod first.

Then loosen the bracket from the case a little so you can move the whole thing up and down a little. UP = cooling is at maximum, starts earlier, is never completely off DOWN = cooling flaps may never open fully

I have an idea how to setup the thermostat (cooling) but I what to double check with the experts. I need to find a screw and washer to fix the thermostat to the bracket. I don?t know if I lost them or during the rebuilt someone forgot to put them. Thanks is advance

Thanks for the quickly replay. I will use the first option since I have temperature of 38 C (100.4 F) on summer for several days and even in the winter it is always over 0 C (32 F)

I bought the screw on my way home and it is done. If the bracket is up the flaps seem to be always open so I pull it little down. I think it is on the middle.
