im new at this. and i wanna know how to take out the dashboard. i took out all the screws from the driving side and i think im supposed to take out 3 screws from the trunk side. is that all to do? and will it come out? What else am i supposed to do?

Haven't done it myself, but I'm pretty sure you have to take out the windshield to access the screws behind it, which are on top of the dash. I'll be having to do this job soon myself....Let me know how it goes!

My experience is only with a '72 Super (flat windshield - dash/windshield is the same as a non-Super) but I *did not* have to take out the windshield. Seven screws along the bottom of the dash, two screws on the top edge, then there are two studs, one on each end of the dash, that point forward into the trunk area, with a U shaped little bracket and a nut holding them in place. You'll have to remove the nuts from inside the trunk area. Before the dash will come out, you'll also have to remove the grilles on either side of the steering column and (I think) also the speedometer bezel plus some other odds and ends that I can't remember right now.
