Intermittent starter

you will need to get power from ignition switch to the relay if you go that route....so either way you run a wire front to back...running a wire front to back is about a ten to fifteen minute job.(that is running it with the factory harness, not some hackjob laying in the floor wirejob)....it makes no sense...you have to get at least a trigger wire from the start position of the ignition switch to trigger your relay when you turn the key...why not just run the new feed wire straight to the starter? the only difference between running a trigger wire and running a new wire for the solenoid is wire size... you forgot the huge bookcase wing on the back (painted yellow for speed, horsepower and torque and its super kewl) and a 7 piece chopper gun baja kit! lol!

since you replaced the starter... did it come with a new bushing? (mine did when i bought a new one) and that didn't fix it then it may be your wiring or the switch.

my 68 autostick had the same prob... turn key no start. replace the nuetral safety switch (auto's only) and still nothing, replaced the ign switch and starter... still no start... but this worked

the extra solenoid is just a temp fix even IF it works. my 69 had one
