Last night's Junk Yard Wars

On JYW last night they slapped together some pretty neat rock climbing machines. But...one team made theirs by chopping up a good looking split window bus...red & white, reminded me of by '67. Even the junk yard referee said, That bus would have been worth $10 thousand to someone. To which the guy with the chainsaw replies, Well it ain't now. Just about made me sick. At least the bus--or what was left of it--won the competition. Some consolation. The producers "seed" the yard with the stuff the teams will need, don't they? They ought to have a little respect.

That bus look pretty beat up. probably only about $2000 as it was. It had alot of lumps. The parts woiuld have been worth alot, but they massacred the whole thing into tiny pieces just to use the front beam and engine/tranny. What the hell was that all about?

heh heh Nah, I missed that one. :-) I took mine offroading today after work again. Drove up a small stream in it and got my shoes wet. The water was a little deeper than I thought. If I keep this up then I'm gonna have to start bringing my camera to work with me to get some pictures. Today made the second day in a row that I had some fun offroading out near my work. SWEET!
