gotcha, Scott.... you may not be hiding, but you've been staying out of view... more accurate?

Thank You...I think.

The Green '59 did an outstanding job as a campaign car. One Saturday morning the accelerator cable broke as I was on my way to knock on doors, but thankfully Scott was able to come out, in his way too clean truck, and tow the car back home. We called up our local ACVW supplier and for a little over five dollars I was on my way and got to finish up the day talking with potential voters.

Yes, I'm still doing the same things, since I still have to make a living. In our town, a seat on the council is essentially a volunteer position. What little it does pay doesn't even cover the cost of fuel to get to all the various meetings. In our part of the city the focus is on both neighborhood issues and economic redevelopment.

As for the VWs, Scott, in another thread, mentions how we recently sold the two 1965 Beetles that he and I had occasionally offered for sale here on RAMVA. The fellow who bought them seemed happy to have a father/son project to dig into.

Glad to see everyone here is up to their usual antics!:~)
