OT: I can't keep the secret!!

I haven't found that to be completely true with the other '66 owners I asked and those that I googled, but whatever. :)

Ah, interesting. I'd like to get a classic Mustang one day when I have more room. :)

K codes are very desirable, and extremely rare. If you can hear the mechanical lifters, you may have a K code. Anything is possible. H

I had a 1965 six cylinder Mustang in my driveway once. Worked on it a bit. Still have the carburetor kit I didn't get around to installing, if anyone needs one. I learned just enough to tell me that I wanted little to do with those cars. They are a classic alright. A classic example of 1960s American automotive design. Which was not an improvement on 1950s American automotive design. And I ain't talking about the exterior looks!:~)

I suppose Mustangs are fine cars for those who desire them and don't mind the trouble. I suppose the same could be said about aircooled Volkswagens!:~)

Kidd, I hope you enjoy the car. When Jan gets there and you've supplied him with a new hobby, you'll both have a good time riding in the little horsie. When its running since we all know how Jan can be!:~) (Good luck making him keep his foot out of it!:~)

Mine's an 8 cyl. :)

Yup. The very same can be said with any car I think. It's all about personal preference.

Now why do you assume that when Jan gets here, he's going to be the one doing all the work? I've made it a point to learn as much as I can and continue learning so I can do my own work. Sure, I'll need help with the bigger stuff like the suspension swap and whatnot, but for the most part I'm going to do as much as I can on my own. I'll even log it in an online journal and keep track. So HA! I can do it. You'll see.

But thanks too. :) I'm sure we'll enjoy it. This is most definitely a project car. No doubt about that. I'm going to have a lot of fun with it, and a whole lotta headaches.

Yeah, but when one of our enthusiasts deviates to the Dark Side, for example with a '66 Mustang, we all gotta be sympathetic. :)

Have you seen the pictures of what that boy does in his garage. The only way you'll be able to keep him from making your new ride a bit more....ummmmm....dare we say.....sporty (?) is to keep him chained up in the corner.

You never know, he may knid of like it!:~)
