I got a #4 Phillips to remove the doors but the screws will not budge. I tried Penitration oil but no luck. One of the screws is stripped and I got a #4 Bit Extractor from Sears but it does nothing. Any Ideas?
Thanks Steven

I just took the doors off a 1303.
I used paint stipper to get to the metal (carfull if you are not resprayining ! ), then penitrating oil, than an impact driver (the one you hit with a BIG lump hammer). One of the posidrives was stripped, and I got away using a slot driver bit to get enought "bite". In the past I have had to weld a nut to the screw and use a socket wrench, worked pretty well. The screws are available, if you trash the ones you have.

Yes, definitely an impact tool. If you can, drive to a tire shop and ask them to impact it off.
The screws are fairly soft. If you drill thru the head of one that is stripped, the head will come off. Once the door is off, the remaining threads will unscrew easily.

What size bit/kind do I need to drill it out? Car is not drivable so no going tire shop.
Thanks for the Advice.
Thanks Steven
If you are drilling them out, you will need new screws ! Get some screws and you can get your drill bit size from them . I will have a look tomorrow and see what size mine are.

A 5/16 " drill bit should do it. A little bigger wouldn't hurt either. You'll need a 3/8" drill chuck.
