Does anyone know how to replace the shift lever stop on an A2 GTI? It's not obvious by looking...

What's an A2 GTI?
If this thing is a watercooled VW, try the rec.autos.makers.watercooled group. This is the aircooled group (old bugs, buses, ghias, etc).
