Should sighting be included at VW-F-V?

Even though I haven't found time of late to work on the site, I still make notes and collect pictures for VW-F-V: Volkswagens in Film and Video

but I don't know if I want to add thisone.

The commercial is for Structured Settlements, a firm that gives its clients pennies-on-the-dollar now for things like settlement judgments or lottery winnings that are structured to be paid out over many years. The spot opens by asking if you need money to overcome a reposession -- and the image is that of the nose of a '73-'79 SB attached to a tow truck's sling.

What do you guys think? Does this infer that we're such deadbeats that we'd let somebody repo a Beetle? Then again, that also infers there's somebody out there who can finance a 30-year-old car!

Might be best to include ALL sightings and let user posts be the statements of approval/disapproval. There are some things which we dislike at the time they start, but, years later, we nostalgically wish to see them again.

I agree with KWW. Remember that commercial that drop a garage on a Ghia ? AHHHHHHHH!
