No beetles had radios fitted from the factory. Always dealer installed radios. Makes and models depended on market area/dealership even.

So what happened to all the radio delete plates??? I'd like to have a few for my cars..................anyone have the radio cover blanks they want to sell, for a 71 beetle?

I understand that there are more radio's on the marked but i'm refering to the Blaupunkt 'Frankfurt' or 'Dortmunt'. Just because i like 'm. You can buy them restored with waranty and the modern am/fm tuner for a LOT of money!! (279,- Euro's) I will buy it............. someday
