Thanks Speedy!
OK so who has the oldest Beetle on this group?
I owned a gutted and very rusted Zwitter for a couple of years. Sold it as a rolling heap, it later donated the rear roof section to an Oval a friend had. The original Oval roof caved in from a small snowslide(From a house). Not sure what happened to the rest of the Zwitter, probably scrapped. His former Oval turned out to be a real bastard, it also had the -51 vents in the front quarter panels. The last engine was a wasserboxer(there was a
356 engine in there for a while). He even got hold of a 2.1L 112hp injected wasserboxer for it, not sure if it ever got installed.I belive the name Zwitter is refering to the German word for in-between, Zwischen.
J.
This is were you can call me stupid, I could have bought a 43 KDF beetle that was right here in burlington for $2k and it was very complete but rough. I do have a 58 rag, its really the model I like the most. I'm not much into just haveing something just because it older or the fad to have.
You're a liar, and there's no way you deserve either one of those cars even if you had access to them.
