I'm not interested in buying it (well, technically I am... but I could never afford a project car or second car for the next 5 years or so) but how come the hood, front bumper and the rear quarter panel seem to be under repair? Was it in an accident, or did it rust (looks like something was patched on the lower part of the rear quarter).
I find it odd that the rest of the car is immaculate, but certain areas seem to need all that work.
Love the 780's tho... might have to buy one in 5-10 years, when I can afford to play with cars.
Looks like it was pretty obviously in an accident, front bumper cover is damaged, bumper is bent, and all the front end bodywork is missing, unfortunate really, those parts will be very hard to find, but the car will be very nice when done. Too bad it has the V6 and not the turbo though. Is the 780's hood unique too?
Location might be helpful.
Rule of thumb with the 780 - if it's clean (sheetmetal, interior) it's different than the 740/760. If it's dirty (engine, transmission, suspension) it's the same. Just some dashboard parts are common.
