All the brake lights have quit working, so the car is not safe to drive. The owner (a friend) informs me that the "rear wiring harness" was replaced
20 months ago. The running/parking lights work. I pulled the brake light switch and checked it with an ohmmeter, it checks out. The shift interlock does not allow the shift lever to be moved out of park with the switch removed. The idiot light on the dash is intermittent. I can pump the pedal and it make it go on and off. Any ideas on how to debug this?
