Are there any consumer tools that can retrieve SRS diagnostic info from a
2000 US V40? Are there any commercial tools short of a VCT-2000 that can do so? (IE is it possible that a non-Volvo shop might be able to retrieve any SRS info?)
Also, if the fault is corrected, will the SRS light go off on its own, or does it have to receive an electronic reset command of some sort? (IOW, is it worth my while to look for an obvious problem like a loose wiring connection?)
