2002 V70 2.4SE 140BHP Estate.

I have just put the deposit down on the above car. Looking forward picking it up next week.

One small thing I could do with some help on, I drive for business, and use a mobile phone a lot. On my last Volvo, I had a Sony Radio etc, which had a radio mute for the phone, and I purchased a nice little module that fitted into the ISO radio harness, and when the radio mute signal was sent from the phone, it also switched the front speakers onto the phone. This made for a fantastically clear phone call even at the "Higher" motorway speeds.

Now the question is, the new car has a built in Radio CD player, and as yet I know nothing about it. I was wondering if anyone out there knows if the radio has a Mute input, and where I would find it, even better would be if the radio has a proper phone input I could use, in which case does anyone have the details of what and where they are? I see that Volvo do their own phone Kit, but as I already have the Kit, and am more than capable of connecting and wiring one up, I do not really want their one.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Clive
