Hello all, I need your help in appraising my Wagon as it was written off by my insurance company after being damaged by another vehicle. My local insurance company is not prone to paying "replacement value" for any vehicles that are written off in an accident, but I intend to fight this with your help
With 300K kilometres, my wagon had all the options including heated leather seats, cruise control, aluminum rims and virtually no rust around the frame and wheelwells. As a matter of fact, other than replacing a few relays, all the electrical components worked. I was planning to replace the engine cover and the left front fender due to some warpage, but that was about it. The engine (B21) was in excellent mechanical condition however the turbo charger was ready for replacement.
I need input from all on what "full replacement value" might be for a vehicle such as this in your part of the world, and what tactic you might use in negotiating with an insurance company such as mine which caters to itself before the consumer, bastards!
Please HELP
