All Volvos have a rubber cam belt...
Well unless you count the infamous PRV V6 of the 70s and 80s but it had it's own set of issues. There's no problem with the rubber belt so long as you follow the maintenance proceedures. Not following the oil changes will kill the engine just as fast as not changing the belt, what's the big deal?
