I don't know what you mean by maintenance. If you mean routine maintenance as specified in the owners manual, then you can find the owner's manual online at the following site:

You have to register -- which takes all of five minutes, and then look under the Volvo Library menu for online owner's manuals.

If you mean routine service and SIMPLE repair, then I would recommend the Haynes manual. There is a single manual for '93 - '97 850s, and in North America it is Haynes part number 97050. For Europe and Australasia there is a manual that covers '92 - '96

850s.

Many Thanks Bev! I'll try to get the Haynes book. How can I get a Password for volvotechinfo.com? I could not find how to register. Is there a list of actions that should be done for routine maintenance at

165000 km / ~105000 miles for the 1993 850? Is that kind of info available free somewhere in the internet? Unfortunately on the owner site there is only info for the 95 and younger models.
