Can anyone advise how to adjust the idle speed on the 1.4 16v golf. It is currently sitting about 450rpm which lets the car stall about 20% of the time. Is there a way or adjusting it or is is a dealer job?

I believe it is auto set by the computer and you can't change it. if it's idling that low there's something else wrong with it, or your ECU needs resetting.
