I posted your eBay record AFTER I checked the other party's records. I did this as a warning for the potential buyers unfamiliar with eBay dark side. I couldn't find any feedback posted by you, nor a reply to the negative feedback posted to your account. I couldn't find any response where you defend yourself against the negative fb left by the buyer. According to american society rules, if you don't make any attempts to defend yourself against accusations, you're considered guilty (see credit [card] rules). Also according to US postal regulations, the sender is responsible for the safety of the shipping, unless you insured the item and postal service is taking the blame for the loss. This is the federal regulation which every seller on eBay strives to ignore. THE SHIPPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT unless the item was insured against loss and you have proof of that. This federal law is ignored across all eBay transactions! So, if the item was lost in the mail, first you should post this on the fb board, which you didn't do. Second, if the item is lost by the postal service and it was insured, you should take the dispute with shipper and post the results on fb board, so others will know that it wasn't your fault. As long as the buyer didn't received his item, it's your legal responsibility to refund his money regardless of the reasons for the loss! That's the law! You didn't refund his money. Legally the buyer can take you to Small Claims Court to recover his loss. Why anybody should buy from you?

Why didn't you rectified the situation immediately with the buyer, if you are so quick to react? I didn't loose anything, your customer lost his money!!

And you didn't give a shit about the buyer's loss, you just cash his money and ...... nothing else.

and you shouldn't do it in the future!

So that's your excuse not to respond to buyer's e-mail? "Never sent lanyard & hasn't responded to e-mails"....... but you did cash his money!

so Tom

are you the self appointed VW /Ebay cop...

if so.. get a real job. you have way too much time on your hands

98 + % of my ebay transactions to the VW crowd go off without a hitch

stick to inquiring about how much vw's cost to build in Canada or USA.. that's a much more positive way to spend your hours

Mike nuff said.. moving on to other issues...

Tom I guess you never considered the fact that MAYBE the package was lost in the mail

if my emails to Your hotmail account did not bounce back to me.. I would have rectified the situation immediately

Sheesh.. 70+ positive transactions, and one goes wrong !!!!!

sorry for using this board for mediation....

Mike

So it bothers you? Of course it does, you are a thief. Who's gonna be your next victim? Advertise your scam elsewhere.

One like yours? Scamming people on eBay? No thanx, I don't need to steal for a living.

you have way too much time on your hands

Of course you idiot, I'm retired!

Yeah, it sounds as if he is. So what? So am I; I've never done business with you, and based on this little exchange can't imagine that I would.

Are you a swindler? Did you keep a buyer's money and not provide the product?

What the heck is this all about?

If you object to someone selling things on this NG, just say so...but otherwise, why are you busting this guys balls. If you are inclined to indict someone's integrity on the basis of e-bay feedback, note that the guy who made the complaint has 2 negative feedbacks in 39 deals, while the guy you seem intent on crucifying had 1 in 80. Based on your highly critical scale of judging the worth of your fellow humans, the guy whose balls you are breaking deserves the benefit of the doubt more than his accuser.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...why not give people a freaking break!

It would appear to be about an ebay seller who has taken a customer's money, and not delivered the product, and who NOW sounds like a Phil Hendrie shady character with his double-talking and avoidance of the basic issue.

What does it appear to be to you?

I have no idea, and quite frankly, neither do you. For all we know the package arrived the day after the guy left the negative feedback and he didn't bother or didn't know how to correct his feedback. The fact 79 other people seemed happy suggests that perhaps this was an aberration not worthy of people going off half cocked and judging a situation on the basis of a thimbleful of information, and then crucifying the guy on that incomplete data in a public forum..

I am sure you are a decent person, but if I applied your criteria of judgment, I would say you were way too quick to judge and not a real clear thinker. Personally, I don't think it would be fair to judge you on one small piece of your life...do you?

In his responses to Tom Resi, the seller doesn't suggest anything close to that.

Certainly not; not in isolation, anyway. However, if some unflattering item came up and you asked me some direct questions about it, and I gave evasive answers, you might reasonably think there was something to it.

That is reas---------------------------------------------------------- I guess you never considered the fact that MAYBE the package was lost in the mail

if my emails to Your hotmail account did not bounce back to me.. I would have rectified the situation immediately.

--------------------------------------------------------

This seemed to say that after he discovered that there was an unhappy customer, he wrote and the e-mails bounced back. Could be bullshit, but certainly possible. The guys hotmail account could have been full...god knows mine has gotten full repeatedly with all the spam that gets through.

Seemed like a plausible explanation to me. E-mail communications have problems all the time.

Anyway...not a big deal, I just thought you, and the other guy were being a bit harsh on the guy.

Take care.

You, too. Have a good Thanksgiving.

Yes Mr. Bad but the other guy didn't try to swindle anybody. It helps if you bother to read the fb instead of only counting the numbers. Here, I'll do the work for you:

"funktribe( 178) Sep-16-00 09:59:43 PST 397114361 Complaint : never sent payment omobbdeepo( 58) Jul-05-00 21:18:29 PST 348299289 Complaint : payment was never received, made contact several times & got no reply Response by entity23 - Payment WAS received although late. I compensated Mobdeep for her time & trouble"

So he changed his mind once and didn't pay his bid, which is a no-no on eBay, but it's nothing like taking money without shipping the merchandise.

So, Mr. Bad, I don't need to spend too much time guessing which part of your body is "Bad" and needs some rebuilding in the bodyshop.

while the guy you seem intent on

So, how do you call somebody defending a crook? Another crook?! or a lawyer? Bah, same thing anyway. Happy Thanksgiving

Yeah Tom, thanks for that insight, I'm a moron...but I still don't get why you went off on this guy. If you give people this little slack in your personal relationships you must be a real joy to be around. If everyone was deemed worthless after messing up once every 80 tries there would be a lot of people written out of your world.

anyway...take care...have a great thanksgiving...and try taking it a little easier on people.

I guess I just didn't th Jesus! what banana country have you landed from? Don't you understand any english at all? He never thought that I am the one who lost the money!!! Read his own posting!!! Here, I'll do the work for you again:

"sounds like you are speaking 3rd party

Mike"

Is that clear enough that he knew that I was a 3rd party?? And read his next postings where he keeps attacking me, instead of just saying that he refunded the money, because he didn't. He's just looking for excuses.

You are just dumb! His e-mails to ME bounced back because I didn't bother to clear the spam. He never tried to connect with his customer after he took his money. God! what's your IQ? minus ten?

Could be bullshit, but certainly

MY ACCOUNT is full, not his poor customer! You'd be much better just to keep your stupid mouth shut when you don't understand anything around you.
