Not sure what you mean "running very much like the computer is not working" though. Might be a defective 02 sensor.
Bentley and a Multimeter will help you do tests. ;-) Most of the testing is done at the ECU plug. Or course check your fuses and wiring too first!

I second that guess. Disconnect the O2 sensor and see how it responds.
