Hi folks,
On my way home from New Years' festivities tonight, someone was nice enough to leave a muffler and tailpipe laying in the road on a poorly lit turn, which I hit. No tire or wheel damage that I can see, but the belly pan ('03 Passat V6) is more than half torn off, and dangling from a bent fastener that I managed to push it back onto (laying in my wet driveway). I'm not sure if it will make it to the dealership (15-ish miles) in this condition. Should I risk it, or tear it off? Am I risking any serious damage if I drive it with the belly pan removed? I see rubber bushings that would be exposed to the elements if the pan weren't there... any advice appreciated.
Happy New Year (damn damn damn),
