Funny that it doesn't mention how much they already own... you know Dr Porsche had two children, Ferry(son) and Louisa(daughter, german spelling though and I think I mangled it), Louisa married into the Piech family and her son was CEO of VW not that long ago... (after a long stint as a engineer and various other roles), so I suspect the Porsche Family (being Porsche/Piech) holds a bit of VW already...

Both grandsons worked at Porsche until the late 60's or early 70's when it was decided that the CEO position would go to someone outside the family... (was a hard decision i guess when 2 grandchildren were both qualified) at that time they both left, Butzi Porsche to the Porsche design co, and Ferdinand Piech to VW...

The 911 was designed by Butzi Porsche and Ferdinand Piech... I had always wondered if his heading to VW and the introduction of the GTI and Sirroco was a little friendly cousin to cousin rivalry...
