Looking for some help locating the 6 pin connector under the dash for connecting the factory supplied trailer brake controller pig tail. The truck is a 2003 F 250 4x4. I looked up under the dash by the steering column and fuse box but do not see it. Any help from those who know where it is located would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
Remove the pannel under the steering colum. the connector to the right of the steering column under the dash. almost to the center
Pull off the plastic panel under the steering wheel. Behind the plastic panel look at the vertical steel support above the gas peddle. On the radio side of the support about half way down the opening look for a grey 6 plug connector, use a flash light. The pigtail plugs into this connector.
