That is rather undersized for any car type air tool, okay for topping up your tyres or blowing dust away, or to use with a brad nailer.
You want 2.5 or 3hp and the biggest tank you can get (50 - 100 litres), or you will be disappointed.
Wait till aldi or lidl have a compressor on their specials. They are a good spec. and a good price. If you give your email address on their sites they will tell you what each weeks specials are in advance.

My local Aldi has 2.5hp single cylinder compressor in now.
Sometime in the summer they had a twin cylinder compressor.
only a 24l tank, but for 80 quid a bargain, delivered too!
