Nevermind, I read somewhere else that you do not have tail pipes. If you get new mufflers ans still have no tail pipes, you won't be happy. You need tail pipes so the mufflers will not be so noisy.

I run a header with a MagnaFlow muffler and a tail pipe that goes over the axle and out the back, and the sound is very nice. Before the tail pipe went on, it was way too loud. You might object to the noise with the glass packs and tail pipes, but getting a good muffler and still no tail pipes won't be much of an improvement.

Aside from what everyone has said about needing tailpipes, you CAN go to any decent sized motorcycle shop and get muffler re-packing material. It's used by motorcyclists all the time.

This probably wont make as much difference as you want, but a set of turndowns on the ends of the mufflers will help some, and you won't lose any ground clearance either.

I would go to a local muffler shop and have them make me tailpipes. They could run along the frame and have the up loop to clear the rear axle tucked in the wheel well.

I don't know about the laws where you are, but here, you are not allowed to have an exhaust system exit under the passenger compartment or in front of the rear wheel. The wheel will vortex the exhaust and you will get fumes big time.
