It's not your height that matters so much as the length of your torso. Porsche publishes a headroom measurement (which escapes me at the moment) that you can use as a comparison. But there's no substitute for sitting in one.
Lowering the seat adds 1 measly cm. That could mean the world of difference in comfort if you are right on the edge.

Im 7`6", no problem with the boxster at all, especially when its a dry and sunny day.
Just get wet when the weather turns!

I'm 6 feet 5.5 inches (about 198 cm) - most of my height is in my body, not my legs. I've been happily driving a Boxster S for four years - no problems with either the soft of hard top. I do seem to remember having a problem when I test-drove the standard Boxster in 1999, though.
