You should go back to the Toyota dealer and explain what you explained here. There are several possible causes, including a bad replacement alternator, loose wire or cable, or bad voltage regulator.

Sure...providing that you jumped it in the usual way (connected the jump cables to the battery post clamps)...then the problem could only be that you had a poor connection from the battery post clamps to the battery...clean 'em up and tighten them tight and they should work fine.

You need to start by following the battery cables. I suspect you have a loose connection somewhere, probably not far away from the battery.
