ok! next question is: is the curve of an oval rear window the same as the curve od the corect part of the bigger rear window frow younger beatles?

i have never laid the 2 windows on top of each other. am i correct in thinking you need a rear window from a march 19,1953- july1957 oval rear window and either cant find one or too expensive and you wish to have newer one cut down to size? they are tempered glass not laminated. may explode if trying to cut down. tempered windows are the ones that break into a million pieces as opposed to cracking like a windshied.

well, i know what can happen with the tempered glass :) but my friend works in a plase where cut the car glass and he has already cuted tempered window

i just need to know if i could use the bigger window

since he has done it you should be ok cutting 58 and newer down as body profile is same. can you borrow oval one for pattern? maybe keep a pattern cause maybe others need one as you do .
