Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio from the dashbord when there is no apparent key and it is a complete flush fit??

It might help just a teenie-weenie-tiny-bit if you informed us clueless nerks what year 5 series you have. BMW made a number of 5 series through the years, and believe it or not - they're NOT all the same as your 5 series.
Or you could just take a sledge hammer to it.
