Power antenna does not retract but motor runs when radio turned on or off. Shop manual shows that the antenna mast can be removed but has no information on motor drive servicing.
Can the power antenna drive be dismantled/repaired. Are parts available?

It uses a nylon strap or flexable shaft that winds up on a spool in the motor. with age they break. mast assembly which includes the strap can be purchased from the dealer. Hand tools are all that is needed.
