turn signals not working... Group: alt.trucks.chevy Date: Thu, Aug 12, 2004, 1:35am (CDT+5) From: snipped-for-privacy@mindspring.com (sjb) Hi all, I have an '97 Cheyenne 1500 of which today the turn signals stopped working. They worked earlier this morning, but this afternoon I notice I didn't have any. No left or right, front or rear. I have hazard lights (same bulb and fillament right?) but no turn signals. Anyone know what might be going on? Or, what to check for? I don't see any blown fuses...the hazards wouldn't work without the relay would they?...I'm stumped! Any help would be appreciated... sjb
I may be mistaken but the power to you turnsignal switch for your turn signals is supplied buy your hazzard switch...Thus letting your hazards work and not your turnsignals...What you need to do is check for power to your turnsignal switch. Which is the power supply from your hazzards....If you have power then you more then likely have a bad switch...Being a 97 its very likely... Steve C
