Hi...

I seem to have a green substance mixed in with my a/c discharge. What could this be? It looks like antifreeze, but I do not think my antifreeze is leaking. A/C is working.

Thanks...

You may have had dye installed in the system one time to locate a leak. If this is what you are seeing then you have a leak.

Is it fluorescent? In this case a fluorescent leak detector ? can additive remain in the refrigeration system as it is not harmful to the system.

Under a black lite it is bright green fluorescent, it wont hurt anything, once the dye is put in it stays in.

does your ac work???
