Concord blower bearing?

The blower on my beloved '95 Concord has been making an increasing noise off and on over the last several months. I assume I'll have to take it out and probably replace it or just the bearing.

Any info on this diagnosis and repair task much appreciated.

Sounds like it's time for a replacement. There are a few people that are familiar with LH cars, on this NG that can probably tell you whether it is a do it yourself job, or better left for a pro.

Are you talking about the heating/air conditioning blower? There might be something stuck in there making a noise. You might want to use a lawn blower to blow it out before doing anything else.

Yes the heater/cooler fan. Initially it sounded like a scrapping of light metal, like a squirrel cage edge. Now it has become mostly a rumble, almost like rough road noise. I've confirmed it's definitely the blower, now I'm wondering what is in front of me getting at it and making a repair.
