I spent an enjoyable couple of hours yesterday dragging a very dead Morris 1100 out of someone's hedge. It's currently sitting on a trailer in my drive ready to go to the crusher on Wednesday. Before it goes, I'll remove anything that looks remotely decent - which'll probably take about 3 minutes.My mate reckons we should keep the engine as it'd fit a Mini.Any ADO-whatever-it-is experts out there with any thoughts?The bodywork's knackered. Subframe's collapsed. Only one wheel would turn. It's not a pretty sight...

Not without a new crankshaft and other parts. Would fit a Midget etc, butmost would be after a 1275 for that.

Morris 1100 - any sought after bits?

I think the interior door handles (plastic flap type?) on these fit later model Lotus Elan +2s.

Ah well, too bad. Thanks for letting me know though. Best laid plans of mice and men... I'm afraid I ended up weighing it in after removing nothing more than the rear light lenses. Once I realised that the floor of the car was an inch deep in rat droppings, I kind of lost interest. And it was pouring with rain. I got 46 quid for it and a steel smelting plant somewhere in China will smell a bit funny for a while.
