Nuts and bolts

I could do with a nice big assortment of UNF nuts and bolts. I bought Namrick's version, but it's not very good: rather heavy on the nuts and washers and light on the bolts, particularly the smaller sizes.

Can anyone recommend another supplier of mixed packs of UNF nuts and bolts?

I'm surprised - I got a couple of Namrick selection packs a few years ago when I was putting my car back together, and it seemed to be spot-on. The zinc plating wasn't very good though - lots of them now need replacing.

I have recently bought some stainless steel selection packs from an eBay seller called 'inox47', who seems to be a fastener supplier from Powys in Wales. Their packs are a little different, in that they're a specified quantity of matched sets of specific sizes, so it's less "pot luck" than the Namrick ones.

I'm more than convinced to stock and buy what I need rather than have a 'Mix-n-match' type assortment, whilst I know that many people don't have specialist stockists locally (fortunately I do...) if you actually look at many vehicles they often only use certain length and sizes of set screws and bolts in each size - a bit of forward planning / thought and you can be assured of having the correct fixing you need.

You can have my nuts anytime ian.
