The Vanden Plas 1100's look vaguely convincing - but the MK II Jag version ????(If anyone's interested in such a creation there's one for sale in a garage just outside Huntingdon (Wyton Camp)
Shades of the Skoda 120 my mum (seriously) ran around in for a couple of years (complete with monograms, rally catches and go faster stripes) :o)
Or the Austin 1800 that preceded it by a few years, with the pale green Hammerite swirls over the usual grot spots (door bottoms, sills and headlamp surroundings) and delicate floral tracings hiding the paint join.
Oh but it is - that car is a famous one - pics of it were flying around last year. IIRC it goes by the name of the "Lamarossa". The guy that built it posted pics of it on some forum or other, got absolutely slated for it & got very upset!
