Anyone know the wiring codes for an '88 F150? Friend is trying to put a CD player in and I can't find anything anywhere.
The wiring colours are 2 Black with white stripes one white with green stripe One Orange with green stripe one red One Orange with black stripe One yellow with black stripe and one blue
go to kmart or whatever you have for major store and buy a wiring kit!!! plugs in to factory harness and has wires and instructions on how to hook up to new deck!! cheap too
Hopefully you have not already cut off the factory harness, as most people do. If you have not, go to Wal-mart and pick up the $4 adaptor that plugs into the factory harness. It has all the instructions to wire your new stereo to it.
