Ford Deisel need advise

M reg mondeo, Turbo deisel 1.8, It has no umph unless revs are kept at least



2500 then power comes in a rush, It could be a number of things i guess, Anybody any clues please.

That's quite normal behaviour for the Mondeo 1.8 turbodiesel donk. If you accelerate hard in top from 50 - about 2,000 rpm showing - it starts to stomp along at 60 mph (2,300 rpm).
