I own a 1999 focus 1.8 zetec, for the past couple of weeks occasionally the engine starts to stumble or hesitate and also when idling i can feel the engine fluctuating, although the rev. counter stays constant at about 750rpm, can anyone help? thanks

Sounds like an either an ignition miss-fire or possibly a fuel injection problem.
