It all depends.
What are they doing for this service?
Oil change and check the brake pads, then it isnt a good deal at all.
Oil,spark plugs, air filter and other ancillaries included, then it seems
For 99ukp, I'd expect the Ford service to be a 1 hour job, so oil, and
check over other things, then charge you extra for any parts
You've got to find out what they are doing before knowing if the prices

Thanks for the reminder. I got the wife's car serviced on that deal in
early December and am still waiting for the voucher. I feel an e-mail
to Ford coming on (the voucher's are sent direct from Ford, not the garage).
So what was actually included in the 99gbp service?
The 120gbp was a misquote - it was actually 90 pounds in the end. A good
deal you might think apart from I am not taking my car back to this guy ever
He seemed nice enough - told me that my spark plugs were in really good
condition and didnt need replacing so gave me ten pounds off so I only ended
up paying 80 pounds.
I opened the bonnet when I got home to find that the battery cover was
lose - not clipped into place in anyway.

the hole where it goes. Right near the bottom of the car , drivers side. It
looks like some sort of earthing point but there are no wires there. There
is no nut to this bolt so I am certain thats come off on the ride home. Now
I am just worried where it came from and if its ok not to have it there. Any
So when I think about it, I have paid 80 pounds for an oil change and filter
and an air filter (I still have to check I actually have new filters)...
He said the brakes needed a fluid replacement. 40 quid - bring it back next
week. Don't think I will.
