You're doing something wrong if you have to keep adjusting the Holley!

Umm.. No, they are similar.

Carter carburetor (fuel systems products) is still owned by Federal-Mogul.

Edelbrock carbs and manifolds work well on the Ford, but you need to buy an inline fuel pressure regulator, and adjust it down to 6psi for the Edelbrock, it will increase your mileage and drivability. The Edelbrocks don't need and don't like all the fuel pressure. Once you are properly setup, you won't need to constantly adjust and Edelbrock unlike many of the Holleys, and no more worries about blown power valves (like with the Holleys).

For all around style driving, get a dual-plane manifold, and a 6-700cfm Carb, if your engine is mostly stock.

I bit the bullet and actually took my bronco to a place nearby with a good rep for work and knowing carbs.

Cost me 32 bucks but the guy fixed my choke seems it was sticking a common problem with the electric choke. Also reset the float level as it was high did the mixture thing and did a smoke test to check for vac leaks.

Runs like a top right now. But I am going to go with a edlebrock performer intake and carb for it in the spring.

So for now i am happy. I'll take pics when I do the install and post em on my website.

I'd like to build a stroker for a tow truck. Is it a Clevland or a Windsor?

Either way, I'd still like a price and am considering if I want to go one carb, one turbo. Two carbs, two turbos with the stroker.

The Chevy I'm building will be a show piece, but would most likely do 10's even for the 7500 pound bucket of bolts it's going to be!
