CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY INFO ON FLAT HEAD STRAIGHT 6 LIKE A REPAIR MANUAL OR SOME THING LIKE THAT

I'm pretty sure the nearest dealer could give you a repair manual, but he'd probably want some money in return.

No need to shout...go to your local library and check-out a repair manual....

Will agree, turn off the bloody cap lock.

On responses so far, the dealer is not going to have a repair manual for an engine that ceased production 50+ years ago. And I doubt very many libraries will have a manual ether. Hemmings, or search the internet for web sites devoted to the year of your rig, and there will probably be links to sources of manuals.

As late as 1953 the Ford F-100 was available with a 254 cid L-head

6 cylinder engine.

its a 1947 f100 not sure of the motor

worked in a busy rebuild machineshop since 1968 . thought id seen em all , just blank on a ford flathead 6 .

If it has the original flat head 6, its 226 cid engine. From 41-47 it was rated 90hp, but 47-51 it was rated 95 hp.
