Read in Road & Track that 2005 will be the last model run for Buicks LeSabre, Chevys Astro and GMC Safari Van.
Lucerne will replace the LeSabre in 2006. Park Avenue will undergo a complete change over and a new name is possible.

That sucks! I?m a Lesabre man waiting for the day I can afford a Park Avenue. Why take perfection and call it milk?
Because that's not what Lucerne means. It might by association mean that to you and I, as we see the milk cartons with the Lucerne name on it, but it doesn't "mean" milk.
Having said that, what a rotten name for GM to pick for a car.

I kinda looked for Buick to do some name changes of their cars soon.
