Its not the transmission pan or filter, its bone dry ( i had them done ) but where the tranny mates with the engine, something is leaking, its tranny oil not engine oil.
Any else had this?
thx, james

sure, its a common thing. front transmision seal is leaking. yuo have to pull the tranny or engine and replace the front seal. easy to fix,but hard to get too. john
The dealer is replacing the rear main bearing, they never seem to find the drips i do.
What is the "offical" name of the trans seal - Just Front Transmission Seal.
The dealer did say they would put some dye in my trans then take a look later.
thx, james

Ask the dealer how much delta it would take to replace the front tranny seal while the rear main seal [hopefully you meant that and not a bearing] is being replaced.
