2000 Cherokee Letter

Good afternoon, A few days ago I received a letter from Chrysler stating that due to a high demand for the 2000 Cherokees they are offering me a great deal on trading mine in for a 2004 of any of their models. Was just wondering if this offer is legit or just a way for me to go back to the dealer?

Thanks

Tom

LOL!

Likely legit for both reasons.

They foolishly stopped making the Cherokee so the demand will continue to grow and yours is likely paid for so they want their hooks back into you for new car payments too. They make money in both cases.

Watrat did pass the time by typing:

The later. However don't let that stop you from going for a test drive. Who knows the deal may be good. The local Jeep dealer got me in for a free foldy chair and inspection.

I'm waiting for the hemi. Then I'm going wait a year so someone else pays the drive-off costs. :)

Gee, that's odd. I got a similar letter telling me how desirable the 1995 Grand Cherokee is, and just how much my local Jeep dealers will be willing to sacrifice in order to get mine...while pawning off the far less worthy new model on me.

Yeah, it would be nice to see how that displacement on demand works after the first year or two.

Then again, if my founders stock becomes worth much next year.....
