94 Cherokee Shift Handle

Can anyone tell me how to remove the shift handle on my 94 Cherokee, i would like to put a new button return spring in. Thanks

Dunno how replaceable the spring is but the "T" handle just pulls straight up and off. There's a wire ring and groove or somesuch under there to hold it on. Reverse instructions to reassemble.
